Kathy Couture is a mother, a daughter, a wife, a weaver, and a writer For the past five years she has been an administrative assistant to the department of special education at BCEMS Before this she was a lunch lady Before this she did home daycare Before this she worked as an office assistant, office manager, circulation manager at the World Newspaper She grew up in Barre, went to Barre City schools, and married a Barre boy Kathy loves writing, reading, going to the movies and out to eat. She loves Vermont, fresh air and mountains. She thinks everyone in central Vermont should hang out at the Montpelier Farmers' market on Saturday mornings, where there is always good food, good music, and good people. Kathy writes science fiction almost every day. If Kathy does not write every day, she is at least thinking about writing She loves to read science fiction and fantasy. Her favorite movie is Lord of the Rings (the entire Trilogy) Kathy's taste in music is eclectic. She loves Dwight Yokem and the Eagles Kathy often wishes she could move to Alaska and live in the wilderness As long as she had access to a computer, life would be good Kathy is hoping to publish a young adult novel set in Barre She wishes everyone would buy her books
